Mother's Day

New post over at the private blog.

First off, disclaimer.  This is Michael, Jenny's husband.  I am not trying to impersonate her in any way.  You can also see this on the private blog.

Now, with that out of the way.  For those of you that don't know, today is our 6th wedding anniversary and I am happier to be with her today than I was 6 years ago.

   I first met Jenny when she moved into our ward.  We were friends for a while but only because I was to much of a wimp to ask her out :).  But let be honest, how would a dork like me ever think to land a hottie like this?

Hehehe, I believe this was at a dinner that my roomate cooked, but any excuse to talk to her :).

Well we were friends for about 6 months and then we started dating (see it is possible to leave the "friend zone" guys!!!).  In the beginning of November we got engaged and got married about 6 months later.  I still remember how beautiful and amazing she was that day.  Our appointment was at 11:00am at the San Diego temple.  We ended up having to wait for what seemed like AGES before our actual sealing.  I think they just wanted to give her an opportunity to run :).  Luckily for me she stayed with me.

After we got married we went back to school where I learned some in school but Jen taught me how to be a better person, how to be stronger in the Gospel, and how to have fun doing so.  I always hear about how strong Returned Missionaries are in the gospel, but I have always been amazed at how simple and profound Jenny makes the Gospel.  I have love how Jenny is always trying to get better at things and trying to be a better Mother, wife and child of God.

      As many of you know, Jenny loves taking pictures, but getting one of her is almost as hard as getting a picture of Big Foot.

In the last 6 years I have learned that while Jen can be serious about somethings, she also knows how to have fun.

But mostly I want her and everyone else to know that I think she is an amazing women who is the verify impersonation of Internal Beauty.  And to cap it all off?  She is just down right sexy.

6 amazing years with an amazing woman.
